Course Description

This course will give you a deeper insight into desktop publishing by introducing you to the essential features of Adobe InDesign - the leading industry software application for print and digital page design.

This course is ideal for learners who want to be able to create elegant and visually striking images for publication in both print and digital media, and ground their designs in best practice.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Navigate and use InDesign's interface
  • Organise your project and project documents

This course is available to all adults over the age of 18 resident in the Republic of Ireland.

This course has no specific entry requirements, however it is suggested that you have a solid foundation in graphic design before registering for this course.

Yes, this course is supported by an online tutor who you will have access to during the course.

What is the exam like on this course?

The Adobe Certified Associate in Adobe InDesign is conducted online and lasts for a total of 50 minutes. The exam comprises of 30 - 35 questions in total.

Do I need specific hardware or software?

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11) or MacOS (the most recent version is Sonoma). 

No specific software is required for this course. You will be provided with an Adobe Creative Cloud license for access to InDesign for the duration of the course.
