Course Description

This course will give you a solid foundation in Microsoft Access, one of the most used database management systems in organisational settings. Access is a powerful tool for storing large amounts of information and retrieving data for reports and analysis. In contrast to most other database programs, Access has its own Graphical User Interface and can be mastered without complex programming, so it is extremely popular with small to medium businesses who want to capture and analyse data in a competitive way.

This course will enable you to manage large amounts of information and use this data to deliver dynamic and informative reports.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

Create and modify tables
Create and modify queries
Create and manipulate forms
Create and modify reports

What is the exam like on this course?

The Microsoft Office Specialist Access Expert 2019 (MO-500) is conducted online and you have 50 minutes in which to complete the exam. You cannot use study materials during the exam. Your results will be available to you on the day of the exam.

Do I need specific hardware or software?

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11).

No specific software is required for this course. You will be provided with an Office 365 license for access to Microsoft Access.
