Course Description

This course introduces learners to the Internet of Things (IoT), which extends Internet connectivity from computers and related devices to other physical devices. IoT devices enable organizations across a wide range of industries to increase productivity and streamline their operations.

This course is aimed at anyone who would like to gain a better understanding of how interconnected devices work and how interconnectivity across devices can lead to convenient, streamlined processes in workplace and personal settings.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Understand the concept of the Internet of Things and connectivity across devices
  • Cite examples of IoT usage scenarios in the workplace
  • Understand common trends in IoT
  • Leverage your knowledge of the IoT and apply this knowledge to your own work

What is the exam like on this course?

Exams are taken online and are 45 minutes in duration. There are 32-39 questions with a pass mark of 75%.

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11). Certain content may not work as intended on certain versions of MacOS, Linux, and Android.
