Course Description

This course will equip you with the skills needed to both understand the structure of a typical database and also perform tasks using database software. You will learn how to create and organise a database, and also how to manipulate the data within a database.

This course is ideal for learners who are beginning to work with datasets, or for learners who would like to enter a profession that will require knowledge of databases and database management.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

Describe the key features and layout of a typical database
Create and organise a database
Retrieve data from and manage data within a database
Use a database to present required information
