Course Description

In this course, you will develop the skills needed to create high quality illustrations, logos and other custom artwork in Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Illustrator is an essential, versatile tool for millions of graphic designers, digital media artists and marketing professionals, facilitating complex design from concept to finished piece.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

Understand Adobe Illustrator's interface and set up projects
Organise documents and files within Adobe Illustrator
Create and modify visual elements
Publish digital media

Does the course have prerequisites?

This course has no prior knowledge requirements, however if you are new to digital design, we recommend that you take our Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop course before taking this course.

Yes, this course is supported by an online tutor who you will have access to during the course.

What is the exam like on this course?

The Adobe Certified Associate in Illustrator exam is conducted online and lasts 50 minutes. The exam contains 30-35 questions based on the content of the course.

Do I need specific hardware or software?

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11) or MacOS (the most recent version is Sonoma). You will also need to ensure that your device can run Adobe's Creative Cloud software.

No specific software is required for this course. You will be provided with an Adobe Creative Cloud license for access to Adobe Photoshop for the duration of the course.
