Course Description

This course introduces Big Data, which provides insights for better decision-making and business strategies.

This course is suitable for a wide range of learners; for example, non-technical professionals who wish to build and demonstrate an understanding of Big Data, facilitating engagement with their technical colleagues or their suppliers, or learners who wish to add general technical knowledge to sector-specific or general studies.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

Fully understand the concept of Big Data and its uses
Appreciate the Big Data environment in organisational settings
Cite common examples of Big Data usage scenarios
Understand the adoption of Big Data analytics in a workplace setting
